EJT welcomes two new members to the consortium

2017-05-16

The EJT consortium is happy and proud to welcome two new members, both from Madrid (Spain): the Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales and the Real Jardín Botánico. On April 24th, 2017, the EJT Steering Committee unanimously accepted the applications of both institutes and we heartily welcome these two new partners, who enlarge the consortium to 9 members representing 6 European countries.

Both the National Museum for Natural Sciences and the Royal Botanical Garden have a long-standing history of curational, museological and research activities, and EJT is proud to count them amongst its active members. The general directors of both of these new member institutes, resp. Dr Santiago Merino Rodríguez and Dr Jesús Muños, were present at the April Steering Committee meeting and, together with the other general directors present, signed a new 5-year Co-publishing Agreement for the 2018–2022 period.
