EJT is now a CETAF endorsed journal
The Consortium of European Taxonomic Facilities (CETAF) and the consortium of institutions publishing the European Journal of Taxonomy share the common goal of promoting research and understanding in systematic biology and palaeobiology. The current six members of the EJT consortium are all CETAF members and, since the launch of EJT in 2011, CETAF has been very supportive of the journal.
EJT is one of the first "diamond grade" Open Access journal in taxonomy (neither readers nor authors pay), and as such is particularly well positioned to widely communicate taxonomic information. The journal and its publishing model adhere to the CETAF objectives and fall into the strategic development of CETAF via its role in the promotion and dissemination of scientific (taxonomic) knowledge. Consequently, in 2015, both consortia agreed that EJT would be endorsed by CETAF.
The editorial team is therefore pleased to announce that the European Journal of Taxonomy is now officially a CETAF endorsed journal. CETAF and EJT will work together to enhance taxonomic research and scientific publishing within CETAF member institutions, and beyond.
